Admission Requirements
Everything you need to know to apply for undergraduate programmes at Caleb University.
Entry Requirements
- ✓ O'level (SSCE/NECO/NABTEB) — minimum of five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- ✓ UTME score — minimum score as set by JAMB for the current year. Candidates must have sat UTME and chosen Caleb University as a preferred institution.
- ✓ Subject combinations — relevant subjects as specified by each programme (see Programmes section below).
- ! UTME candidates who have completed NYSC or are over 25 years of age are eligible to apply regardless of NYSC status.
- ✓ A'Level / JUPEB / IJMB — minimum of two A'level passes or equivalent JUPEB/IJMB passes in relevant subjects.
- ✓ National Diploma (ND) / NCE — minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant programme from an accredited institution.
- ✓ O'level requirements — same as UTME entry (5 credits including English and Mathematics).
- ! Direct entry candidates enter at 200 Level. JAMB Direct Entry form is required.
- ✓ From another university — candidate must have completed at least one full academic session with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 5.0 scale.
- ✓ Official transcript — required from the previous institution, stamped and sealed.
- ✓ Course credit transfer — assessed by the relevant department. Not all credits may be accepted.
- ! Transfer admissions are subject to space availability and departmental approval.
Documents Required
- ✓Recent passport photograph (white background, not older than 3 months)
- ✓Birth certificate or sworn declaration of age (certified)
- ✓SSCE / O'level result slip(s) — all sittings required
- ✓JAMB result slip and UTME score notification
- ✓State of origin certificate (signed by local government chairman)
- ✓Valid means of identification (National ID, Voter's card, International passport, or Driver's licence)
- !Direct entry only: A'level / ND / NCE certificate and transcript
- !Transfer only: Official transcript from previous institution

Application fee is non-refundable. Acceptance fee is paid after admission is offered and must be paid within 30 days of offer letter.

Access the Application Portal
Choose your preferred route: Pay online via card or bank transfer on the admissions portal — your access is granted automatically after payment. Or use a scratch card PIN purchased from any authorised Caleb University marketer or partner institution to log in directly.
Access & Complete the Application Form
Use your PIN to log in to the applicant portal. Fill in your personal details, academic history, programme choice, and O'level results. Upload all required documents.
Submit & Track Your Application
Submit your completed form online. You will receive a confirmation email with your application reference. Track your application status anytime in the applicant portal.
Receive Offer & Pay Acceptance Fee
If successful, you will receive an offer letter by email. Pay your acceptance fee within 30 days to secure your place and complete your enrolment.
