As Dean of the College of Computing & Information Systems at Caleb University, Professor Aregbesola steers one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking technology faculties in Nigeria, a hub of creativity, research excellence, and industry-aligned learning. Under his leadership, the College is not just training graduates, but producing innovators, founders, and world-class problem solvers positioned for global relevance in the digital economy.
He also serves as the Director of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence, Mechatronics & Robotics, where he leads breakthrough research initiatives in AI applications across healthcare, finance, security, telecommunications, smart automation, and education. His work bridges academia and industry with uncommon excellence, delivering disruptive ideas, scalable solutions, and fostering partnerships that accelerate innovation in Nigeria.
A seasoned cloud engineer and security expert with over 15 years of professional and industry experience, Professor Aregbesola has engineered enterprise cloud systems, directed high-performance DevOps teams, and championed secure digital transformation across organizations. His dual influence in academia and industry distinguishes him as one of the continent’s rare hybrid leaders, both a thinker and a builder.
With a Ph.D. in Computer Science and elite professional certifications including CISM, PMP, multiple AWS certifications, and HCNA, he is widely published, frequently invited to conferences, and currently contributes to national policy as part of the NUC team developing the official Artificial Intelligence Curriculum for Nigerian Universities — a monumental assignment shaping Nigeria’s technological future.
