Caleb University’s Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation held its maiden entrepreneurship festival on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, where 20 burgeoning entrepreneurs showcased their products.
The festival held at the university’s sports arena featured an exhibition of student businesses and sales.
It also provided a platform for the participants to exhibit their talents, network, and grow their businesses.
Some of the businesses on display at the one-day event include Virtus Lusso managed by a 400-level student of the Mass Communication Department, Abogun Haleemah and Khair Stiches, makers of hair accessories, led by another final-year student of Mass Communication, Olatoke Khaira Eniola.

Also at the forum were:
- ScentbyDebs (DBS) – Olatunbi Oluwamurewa (300-level, Computer Science)
- Toria’s Confectionery – Ogunrinola Iremiposi Victoria (400-level, Mass Communication)
- Kachi_Cakes – Oqua Yvonne (400-level, Industrial Chemistry)
The University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nosa Owens-Ibie, declared the festival open with words of encouragement for the participants.
He charged the students to use the event as a prayer point in their quest for a better life at the end of their university programme.
Prof. Owens-Ibie later toured the booths on the ground and chatted with the participants, many of whom were excited at the opportunity to interact personally with the university’s chief executive officer.
